Young Dog of the Year was awarded to "Callen" - Odyssey's Cool-J Callen owned by Chuck and Judy Parietti

Amateur Gun Dog of the Year was earned by "Callie" - FC/AFC Short Stuff Von Greiwe owned by Chase and Mark Verdoorn

Open Gun Dog of the Year honors goes to "Miley" - FC Odyssey's Charismatic owned by Chuck and Judy Parietti

Show Dog of the Year was awarded to "Maverick" - CH Odyssey's Miracle Maverick owned by Chuck and Judy Parietti

NEW THIS YEAR - Hunt Test Dog of the Year was a tie, and both "Toby" - John's High Tail Toby JH owned by John and Jeff Carey, and "Mick" - KMK Jonesy's Mickey Finn Greif JH owned by John E. Jones won.

Congratulations to Chase and Mark Verdoorn on winning 2 of the 4 stakes at the 2011 NGSPA Hour Championship at Pyramid Park near Pinckneyville, IL on March 7-10, 2011.

Of the 4 stakes, Open All Age, Open Shooting Dog, Amateur Shooting Dog, and Derby, Sambo (FC/AFC Snowy River's Sambo Smokin) won Champion and Edger (Snowy River's Cuttin The Edge) won Runner up in the Amateur Shooting Dog. Smoke (Snowy River's Wildfire Smoke) won Champion in Derby.
